Registration starts @ 5:30- 6:45 CST.Penton Raceway follow the rules of World Kart Association.Rules and regulations can be found by visting </B><A HREF="http://wka.com" TARGET="_top" TITLE="http://wka.com"><U><B>http://wka.com</B></U></A><B>.</B></div> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <B>PENTON KART TRACK RULES</B></div> <div> <B>RESPONSIBILITIES OF OWNERS AND DRIVERS:All kart owners /drivers are responsible for the safe operation of the kart and any other vehicle that is in the pit area.</B></div> <div> <B>DRIVERS REQUIREMENTS:Minors please sign minor release forms at he regristration office if under the age of 18.Junior classes need to bring copy of birth certificate at the start of season in order to race.</B></div> <div> <B>REPLACEMENT DRIVERS:Drivers injured in race may have a substitute driver,but that driver must start in the rear of the field in the restart of the race.</B></div> <div> <B>LAPPED KARTS:Karts that are lapped please move to the top of the track using caution.</B></div> <div> <B>RED FLAG:When a race is red flagged,All PIT CREW & FAMILY must stay off track until track personnel tells you its ok to enter track.</B></div> <div> <B>PROTEST PROCEDURE:In Raptor Stock class protest fees are $200.00. All drivers have 5 minutes to protest the class that they are in and money should be given to grid personnel within the allowed time.</B><B>Protest on Box Stock classes have a $300.00 </B><B>claimer rule.</B></div> <div> <B>IMPOUND AREA: Top 5 karts are required to go across scales to be weighed nad go to impound area. Only driver or owner is allowed in this area. Not entire pit crew .</B></div> <div> <B>PERSONAL SAFETY:Karts will enter track in turn 1 or turn 3. Exit track ONLY at the the scales or provided spot at the scales. All drivers must have approved helmet,gloves,neck brace and some kind of pants and lonsleeve jacket. </B></div> <div> <B>GENERAL RACING RULES:You have racing.....and you have bumping,crowding,chopping,blocking and pushing of other karts. It is a judgement call on the part of the race OFFICAL to determine whether it was racing or unsportsmanlike conduct.</B></div> <div> <B>GENERAL RULES OF CONDUCT:ALL INDIVIDUALS shall conduct themselves in an orderly manner. Physical violence,verbal abuse of any offical,participant or spectator will be DQ and ejection from event and will not race next race.2nd OFFENSE:will be DQ and lose 100 points and ejected from the event.3rd OFFENSE:Will be ejected from event and for the rest of season.Verbal abuse or threats directed at any offical,participant or spectator may be subject to DQ from race or track.
